The majority of Wisconsin is under a wildfire warning for the majority of the week.
The Department of Natural Resources issued a warning Tuesday regarding fire dangers that are very high and high.
Everyone is covered by the alert, with the exception of a brief region in western Wisconsin.
Three counties that border the UP are the only ones where there is an extremely high risk.
According to the DNR, the rest of the state needs to exercise caution around fire and shouldn’t burn any brush piles until Wisconsin receives a substantial amount of rain.
