
One of the men deemed responsible for the killing of a man and the burning of his body on the UW Green Bay Campus has been sentenced.
Pedro Santiago-Marquez was previously found guilty on charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Mutilating a Corpse, each as a party to the crime, and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for more than 40 years.
Santiago-Marquez, along with Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia and Alexander Burgos-Mojica killed Jason Mendez-Ramos in September of 2021 and in an attempt to dispose of the body, dumped him in the bushes on the UW Green Bay Campus and set him on fire.
Rodriguez-Garcia is due in court on June 9th for sentencing.
