If you traveled over the Memorial Day weekend, you likely felt the sting of rising gas prices in your wallet.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, the average price for a gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County rose eleven cents since this time last week, now sitting at $3.53.
Sheboygan County reported a seven-cent bump to $3.44 while Calumet County saw a twelve-cent rise to $3.53.
Outagamie County’s average rose the least, swelling only two cents per gallon to $3.40, while Brown County motorists are paying five cents more compared to last week, with an average of $3.44.
Kewaunee County meanwhile, saw a fourteen-cent rise in fuel prices to an average of $3.49 while Door County reported the largest jump in the area, up twenty cents to $3.50.
The state average is up seven cents from last week to $3.53 while the national average is up four cents to $3.58.
