Advocates want Eau Claire to increase its investment in homes for the city’s homeless population.
Last night, the Wisconsin Balance of State Continuum of Care pushed the city council to approve additional financing for affordable housing as well as a meeting with homeless persons to discuss their needs.
A more extensive homeless plan is currently underway in Eau Claire.
The city council claims the meeting’s feedback will be incorporated into the plan.
