Another year, another highly successful Roncalli Pierside Auction.
While this year’s total of $300,000 raised was down from last year’s number of $350,000, this can be attributed to last year being the first year back to in-person since the start of the pandemic.
It is also right on track for what was being raised before, with the 37th Pierside Auction raising $308,000.
Candice Giesen, the Director of Development for Roncalli Catholic Schools said of the event, “Each year, we continue to be grateful for the outpouring of support this event receives…Thank you to everyone who contributed to the auction!”
The Roncalli Pierside Auction provides funding for Roncalli schools primarily in the area of tuition assistance.
About 65 percent of Roncalli families receive some form of tuition assistance.
Gifts to the auction allow Roncalli Catholic Schools to continue to serve students of all economic backgrounds by providing them with a quality education.
