A Green Bay man is dead following a crash Saturday afternoon.
According to Lieutenant Tom Zeigle with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the yet unidentified 76-year-old man was driving east on Bayshore Park Road in the Town of Green Bay at around 12:30 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle traveling south on Highway 57.
The second vehicle, which was driven by a 20-year-old Sturgeon Bay woman, caught fire, but she and her female passenger were able to escape without suffering further injury.
Both were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The Green Bay man died at the scene.
Highway 57 was shut down for around 4 hours as the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team conducted their investigation.
