When two neighbors got into a quarrel, Mequon Police intervened and shot and killed the aggressor.
It all happened at a house in a remote part of Mequon Wednesday afternoon.
According to the police, two neighbors were fighting and one of them was armed.
The armed man, according to the police, barricaded himself inside his house.
The man started shooting at the officers as soon as he emerged.
They killed him by shooting him at that point.
In the shootout, no cops suffered injuries.
The shooting will now be looked at by the state’s Division of Criminal Investigation and the Sheriff’s Office of Ozaukee County.
