A Fond du Lac County woman has died following a crash Tuesday morning.
The unnamed 50-year-old woman was said to be traveling east on County Highway B towards the Village of Eden just before 8:00 a.m.
Her vehicle then crossed through the westbound lane and into the grassy ditch.
Before she could recover and get back on the road, the car struck a tree, killing the woman at the scene.
The reason for the crash is not clear, but speed and impaired driving are not believed to be factors.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of her family.
