WalletHub ranks Madison 21st out of the 182 biggest cities in the nation.
According to WalletHub, the rankings were based on more than two dozen important indicators, including typical beginning salaries, housing affordability, and quality of life.
Quality of life, Madison’s highest-ranking category, ranks fifth overall.
According to WalletHub, New York City is the worst city to start a career in while Atlanta, Georgia, is the best.
