At least one of the drivers involved in Sunday’s late-night collision, according to Milwaukee police, was intoxicated.
According to the MPD, the 20-year-old driver of the first vehicle involved in the collision was arrested for homicide while the 32-year-old driver of the second vehicle was detained for OWI.
Among the five fatalities was a one-year-old infant.
According to Milwaukee Police, two additional people suffered critical injuries.
According to investigators, it appears that one of the automobiles ran a red light and collided with the other.
Some of the victims of the collision were thrown from the vehicle.
