Manitowoc County’s Lydia Luebke came up short in her bid to become the 76th Alice in Dairyland over the weekend.
She was among six candidates vying for the crown and sash at the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, but the title ultimately went to Ashley Hagenow of Poynette.
Hagenow is a senior at the University of Minnesota and will graduate in May 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in agricultural communication and marketing, with minors in animal science and agricultural and food business management.
She will work for the contract year starting July 5th as a full-time communications professional for DATCP, educating the public about the importance of agriculture in Wisconsin.
