Timber Rattlers End Eight Game Losing Streak with 3-1 Win Over South Bend

For the first time since April 29^th, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers picked up a win last night over the South Bend Cubs.

The final score at Fox Cities Stadium was 3-1.

It looked to be much of the same as the Cubs held a 1-0 lead entering the bottom half of the 7^th, but then, with one out and two on in the 7^th, Eduarqui Fernandez stepped to the plate.

Russel Smith and Kaleb Bowmen then combined to allow zero baserunners in the 8^th and 9^th to secure the win.

The Rattlers will look to make it two in a row tonight in game four of six against the Cubs at Fox Cities Stadium.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. on Ghostbusters Night.
