When people say the word “pet”, more than likely your mind goes to dogs, cats, gerbils, or even snakes, but a resident in Two Rivers is looking to get into something a little different.
City Manager Greg Buckley tells Seehafer News that the Plan Commission reviewed the unique request Monday evening.
He explained that they reviewed, “A possible ordinance amendment to allow for a household to engage in falconry as a hobbyist activity.”
Buckley went on to say that he and the Commission learned a lot about state regulations about falconry as a part of the discussion.
The City Council will be looking over the proposal in June.
