A new business is opening up in Manitowoc later this month, and it is giving residents the opportunity to join in a growing trend.
The Pickleball Connection will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Manitowoc County Chamber on Wednesday, May 17th starting at noon.
The building at 1455 North Rapids Road will be a four-court club designed, built and operated exclusively by volunteers.
Pickleball is a sport growing in popularity around the country that can be played by athletes of all ages.
At The Pickleball Connection people will be able to learn the sport and hold community events to help the sport grow locally.
