
The now 20-year-old man who stabbed a school resource officer at Oshkosh West High School has been sentenced.
Grant Fuhrman, who was 16 at the time of the attack was convicted on a charge of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and was sentenced to spend 17 years in prison followed by 10 years of extended supervision.
Fuhrman was arrested after he stabbed Police Liaison Officer Mike Wissink with a fork.
Wissink shot Fuhrman to stop the attack.
Fuhrman apologized to the victim, his family, the community, and everyone involved in the case during his sentencing hearing.
