After a jackknifed vehicle shut down I-43 for approximately two hours last night (April 30th), traffic is back to normal.
The exact cause of the truck being trapped is unknown, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
Near North Avenue, I-43 northbound was closed due to the semi around 8:00 p.m.
Crews had to work until about 10 p.m. to clean up the site.
Nobody was hurt.
