
The Wisconsin Maritime Museum will be talking about one of the least talked about parts of WWII, this Thursday during their Think ‘n Drink series.
The presentation is called “125,284 – Japanese Internment, Racism, and Americanism”.
UW Madison Professor Joy Block will be the featured speaker, and will talk about the anti-Japanese sentiment that swept the nation following the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The doors will open Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the museum located at 75 Maritime Drive, with the presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The featured drink of the evening will be a Matcha Mint Julep, but other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available.
