The investigation into the secret recordings that were collected in Green Bay City Hall has taken another major step.
The West Allis Police Department is conducting the investigation, and they have been allowed access to the audio recordings.
The devices were ordered to be shut off by Judge Marc Hammer in early March, but the recordings themselves were ordered to be sealed.
That is until Judge Hammer allowed the West Allis Police Department access to them for their investigation into whether charges will be filed against the city.
No timeline has been released in regard to when the investigation will be complete.
