Governor Tony Evers says that he received information about the train derailment that occurred in the state’s southwest and resulted in four injuries.
Up to 20 cars from a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train pulled away from the trucks yesterday afternoon near De Soto, Wisconsin.
The Mississippi River was entered by two automobiles carrying paint, but they were later fastened to the bank.
Other vehicles transporting oxygen tanks and lithium-ion batteries didn’t make it into the river.
BNSF is keeping quiet about the derailment’s cause.
