The trial for a former Green Bay elementary school teacher is over, and he has been convicted.
It didn’t take long for the jury to find 48-year-old David Villareal guilty on charges of 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16, Sexual Assault of a Child Under 13, and Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child.
In fact, the jury was out for just over an hour before returning their verdict.
Villareal was teaching at Baird Elementary at the time of the assaults, where female students reported being touched inappropriately.
Villareal is due back in court in July for a pre-sentencing hearing.
