An Appleton man has been arrested for his role in a shots-fired incident from earlier this month.
The incident occurred in the area of North Linwood Avenue and West Pershing Street on April 14th.
Dispatch received multiple calls at around 11:00 p.m. reporting gunshots in that area.
Responding police officers also reported hearing gunshots as they arrived, and evidence was found at that location.
When they did get to the location, the shots had stopped.
No property damage was reported, so the officers began scouring the area.
They located a suspect vehicle parked at a nearby residence where a weapon and ammunition were found.
Finally, on Monday, 23-year-old Francisco Javier Alvarado of Appleton was taken into police custody.
He has been charged with Discharging a Firearm from a Vehicle, and two counts each of Second Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Disorderly Conduct with Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
