Although Larry Lokken of Eau Claire won’t be leaving prison early, he does have a job outside of prison.
A judge denied Lokken’s attempt to have his nine-year prison sentence revoked Monday.
While acting as the treasurer of Eau Claire County, Lokken stole $1,000,000 from the taxpayers.
Lokken is employed by a Fort Atkinson rehabilitation center outside of the prison, where he is closely supervised.
He has worked there for roughly a year and a half. But it’s not making him any money; he still owes the county more than $500,000 in restitution.
