Crews were out and about last week for the annual spring clean-up in Manitowoc taking care of south-side properties.
They will be back at it this week picking up brush from properties north of the Manitowoc River.
Residents are being reminded to have their brush on the terrace by 7:00 this morning as crews will only be going through each area once.
Brush consists of clean woody vegetative material not to exceed five feet in length or six inches in diameter and bushes/shrubs without root bulbs.
The yard waste pickup is scheduled for the south side of Manitowoc starting May 1st, and the north side May 8th.
Again, property owners are being asked to have yard waste, which consists of leaves, thatch, yard, and garden waste, on the terrace by 7:00 a.m. the Monday of your clean-up week.
If you miss the cut-off, you can always deposit your brush and yard waste at the County Compost site on Basswood Road
