A medicinal marijuana program is gaining momentum, according to the top Republican in the Wisconsin Assembly.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos stated that Republicans are still considering a stringent medical-only scheme.
Vos has made it apparent that there is not enough support for recreational marijuana in the Wisconsin legislature.

Melissa Agard, the top Democrat in the Wisconsin Senate, said yesterday that she didn’t think Vos would ever vote to legalize marijuana for the state.
