The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were able to quickly bounce back from a shutout loss on Tuesday to flip the script last night against the Quad Cities River Bandits.
The Rattlers beat the Bandits in Davenport Iowa 2-0 on the back of a three-pitcher shared two-hit night.
Joseph Hernandez picked up the win with a solid six-inning start where he allowed both hits and struck out 3 batters.
Karlos Moralez had two innings of relief where he only allowed two baserunners on walks, and Kaleb Bowman slammed the door shut in the 9th with no hits and no walks.
Offensively it looked like much of the same until the 7th when Ben Metzinger singled in Joe Grey Jr, before doing the same for Robert Morre in the 9th to secure the win.
The Rattlers are now 6-5 on the young season and will take on the Bandits again tonight at Modern Woodmen Park.
Cameron Wagoner is slated to battle Noah Cameron in the 6:30 p.m. ballgame.
