Deputies in Portage County will be telling this story for a while.
Tuesday night, someone called the sheriff’s office and claimed to have a bobcat in their car.
When the sheriff’s office and a DNR warden arrived, they discovered a bobcat curled up beneath the Toyota’s front grill.
The cat was captured by the DNR warden, who then removed it and put it in the back of his truck.
Nobody was harmed.
There is no information on how the bobcat entered the car’s front end or how long it stayed there.
The cat was later released into the wild by the DNR warden.
