There is no longer a fire raging close to Fort McCoy.
On Saturday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, personnel contained and put out the Arcadia Fire.
DNR says the fire burned more than three thousand acres, closed roads, and sent people out of their homes while it burned for three days.
No one was harmed, and the extent of the damage is still unclear.
The largest wildfire in the state last week happened in the area around Fort McCoy.
