One person is dead following a rollover crash in rural Door County.
The Door County Sheriff’s Department was called to the area of Mill Road between Old Elm and West Center Roads just before 4:00 p.m. last Friday.
A deputy found the 2002 Nissan rolled over in a field, and the 32-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
An initial investigation shows that the man was driving north on Mill Road when the vehicle veered onto the shoulder, crossed the southbound lane, and hit the shoulder before rolling and coming to rest in the ditch.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle.
His name has not yet been released as the crash remains under investigation.
