The man who, according to investigators, fatally shot two Barron County police officers had previously made threats to “kill cops.”
According to court records, Glenn Perry made the “kill cops” threat in 2020, just before he was detained for disorderly conduct and domestic abuse.
Perry’s daughter informed the cops that her father detested law enforcement and that he was infamous for carrying two firearms in his vehicle.
According to investigators, Perry shot and killed officers Emily Breidenbach and Hunter Scheel last Saturday during a traffic check.
Perry had an arrest warrant out for him as part of his divorce case, according to the sheriff of Barron County, but he was not thought to pose a threat to law enforcement.
