The Democratic U.S. Senator from Wisconsin is re-running.
Tammy Baldwin declared her intention to run for office yesterday.
Baldwin has twice won her seat, in 2012 and 2018. She defeated the competition by 11 points in her most recent race.
The state’s Democrats anticipate winning again the next year.
The news that Baldwin has announced is expected.
Though no one has yet declared their candidacy, Republicans in the state anticipate that a number of people will seek the chance to run against her.
