Unseasonably warm temperatures, strong winds, and dry vegetation contributed to a day of wildfires in Wisconsin.
It is unknown if Governor Tony Evers would proclaim another fire emergency today.
A single fire in Juneau County’s Village of Necedah forced a few residents to leave their houses.
According to firefighters, the fire consumed approximately 100 acres.
Two helicopters, seven fire engines, and even a prison crew were requested by the state’s Department of Natural Resources to assist in putting out the fire.
