Those who were out and about this morning in Two Rivers likely noticed a power outage in the downtown area.
City Manager Greg Buckley tells Seehafer News that at around 6:30 a.m., a goose flew into what he called the “primaries” at 25th Street and West River causing a rather extensive outage.
The outage covered the downtown area and up Forrest Avenue to around 30th Street.
Crews quickly responded and were able to restore power at around 7:10 a.m.
As for the goose, it did not survive its ordeal.
