It is the most recent illustration of how many people followed Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election.
The state’s Elections Commission reported yesterday that participation on election day on Tuesday was close to 40%.
Officially, 39.34% of eligible voters participated in this week’s poll.
For a spring election that wasn’t conducted concurrently with a presidential primary, as was the case in 2019, that represents a record.
According to unofficial findings, just over 1.18 million people cast ballots on election day.
