Two officers who were involved in a shooting from last autumn have been exonerated by Eau Claire Police.
Yesterday, according to the city’s police agency, the officers’ actions were “appropriate, necessary, and compliant” with police protocol.
Following a 911 call last September, the two cops shot and injured a man after he pointed a gun at them.
The cops were unharmed, and the shooter lived to tell about it.
The D.A. for Eau Claire County had already exonerated the cops of any pending allegations.
