Aside from all of the state and local races, there are numerous referenda on ballots around the area.
There are three on all ballots around the state related to conditions of release, cash bail, and welfare benefits, and locally several school districts are asking to spend more money.
We have covered the Manitowoc Public School District referendum several times, but in Brillion, the Public School District is also asking to spend $4.38 million above the state-imposed revenue cap over the next three school years.
The Valders Area School District meanwhile has two questions on the ballot. One asking, “Shall the foregoing resolution of the School Board of the Valders Area School District be approved?”, and the other asking to spend an additional $1.5 million each of the next five school years.
