A former Brown County employee will be spending a decade in prison for taking county funds.
Kevin Raye was also sentenced to 12 years of extended supervision.
He was convicted in November for using the stolen to buy equipment and then sell it to private businesses and pocketing the money.
In total, he sold over $600,000 worth of items from the money stolen from the County.
Raye reportedly admitted to investigators that he used the money he earned on both personal purchases and on the stock market.
He also made a statement while in court where he apologized for his actions and that he understands the damage he caused.
