
In response to allegations of manure pollution, one of the largest dairy farms in Wisconsin has agreed to settle with lawmakers.
Kinnard Farms has agreed to pay $215,000 to settle a lawsuit over concerns about manure spreading in Kewaunee and Door counties.
Additionally, the agreement requires operators to provide documentation detailing the upgrades that will be carried out at feed and waste storage facilities.
The terms were approved yesterday by the Joint Finance Committee of the state Legislature.
