A woman is charged after her suspected baby’s body was found in a field near a Whitewater trailer park earlier this month.
The woman was taken into custody on charges of concealing a child’s death and resisting or obstructing an officer, according to the police.
Her name has not been made public.
The child was discovered on March 4 in the 700 block of North Tratt Street near the Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park.
The infant was wrapped in a light-colored shirt and no other clothing and was found inside a plastic bag that had been placed inside a cardboard box.
