The mayoral candidates in Green Bay were recently the targets of threatening messages.
Incumbent Mayor Eric Genrich went to social media yesterday where he shared a photo of a letter he received.
The only thing the letter said was “Protect your family” written in all capital letters.
In his tweet, the Mayor simply said “This is sick.”
His opponent, Chad Weininger, also shared that he received a threatening message last week, also targeting his family.
The Green Bay Police Department has been made aware of these messages and is currently investigating.
