The Appleton Police Department is looking for the man they say stole $8,000 out of someone else’s bank account.
The unknown man went to the US Bank located at 200 North Durkee Street in Appleton and proceeded to conduct two separate transactions.
The man is said to have used the victim’s personal information to complete the fraudulent transactions, taking a total of $8,000.
A third withdrawal, which would have been for an additional $4,700 was denied when the Oshkosh branch of US Bank called the victim, who lives in Illinois.
