The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reports the death of one person in a Monday morning pile-up near Verona involving 29 vehicles. Poor visibility due to heavy fog and excessive speed are thought to be contributing factors. The multi-vehicle accident was reported on Highway 18-151 shortly before 8:00 A-M. Six people were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries they suffered. One had to be airlifted by a medical helicopter. No names of any of the victims have been released.
