After a string of overdoses, Racine’s public health managers are issuing a warning about a bad batch of drugs.
The public health departments of the city and county reported six opioid overdoses in the past four days.
The emergency room was used by all six people.
According to authorities in public health, this year has seen 49 overdoses in Racine County.
That is an increase of 158 percent compared to the same time last year.
The health department should be contacted by anyone who might require Narcan, according to the city and county, who state that it is available.
