
A Green Bay man is facing gun and drug charges after he fled from police late last week.
According to the Green Bay Police Department, officers attempted to pull 20-year-old James Mitchell over in the 1000 block of Laverne Drive for speeding in a school zone.
He reportedly fled and was caught following an additional foot chase in the 900 block of Mt. Mary Drive.
During the arrest, officers recovered a loaded handgun, just over 38 grams of crack cocaine, MDMA, prescription drugs, a digital scale, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Eight separate charges have been filed, including Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Fleeing an Officer, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of LSD.
