At the Wisconsin Capitol Wednesday, the team of Governor Tony Evers is likely to receive some pointed questions.
The first confirmation hearings for the transportation, natural resources, agriculture, and department of financial institutions secretaries will be held by lawmakers.
It is unclear whether each of the governor’s secretaries will eventually receive sufficient votes to be confirmed by the full Senate.
During the governor’s first four years in office, lawmakers refused to even hold a confirmation hearing for his staff.
