There are no marijuana possession violations on the records of more than 280 people.
This week, the City of Madison dropped 282 tickets for marijuana possession retroactively.
This indicates that the charge will be removed from a person’s record for those who were fined between February 2019 and December 2020.
Although possession of weed is still prohibited in Wisconsin, a 2020 Madison City ordinance eased restrictions on small amounts of the drug.
