The unemployment rate in Wisconsin is below 3%, but the state has not yet returned to pre-pandemic employment levels.
The state’s unemployment rate is 2.9%, according to the most recent Department of Workforce Development report.
That is down from three percent toward the finish of the year before. However, the labor participation rate continues to fall behind.
According to the DWD, 64.5 % of people in Wisconsin are employed.
This is approximately two percentage points lower than the rate of labor participation prior to the coronavirus outbreak in 2020.
