Chippewa Falls has a warning about fake money.
Thursday, the sheriff of Chippewa County said that someone was using counterfeit $100 bills.
Ten of the bogus bills were seized by Cadott police.
The fakes, according to the sheriff, all have the same serial numbers and are stamped with the words “play money.”
