
After a nighttime chase, Milwaukee Police say the man wanted in connection with the weekend murder of the city’s Common Council president’s niece is dead.
According to police commanders, the suspect, a 28-year-old man, sped away from officers, fired at least one shot at them, and then killed himself as police approached.
On Sunday night (February 26th), the niece of Common Council President José Perez was killed.
Her death is still under investigation by Milwaukee Police.
