After the death of a transgender person over the weekend, LGBTQ leaders in Milwaukee are looking for answers.
According to Milwaukee Police, 31-year-old Cashay Henderson was found shot in her apartment following a fire call.
Investigators have ruled her death a homicide.
Henderson is said to be the third transgender woman to die in Milwaukee in the past nine months.
The case’s motive or suspects are not mentioned by Milwaukee Police.
