The regular season is now over for the men’s and women’s basketball teams at UW Green Bay, and they couldn’t be in more opposite positions.
The men fell to the Fort Wayne Mastodons Saturday 78-61, and end the season with a 3-28 record.
This included a six-game losing streak to close out the season.
The women Phoenix however end the season with a 70-64 win over the Mastodons, giving them a 25-4 record.
They also ended on an 11-game win streak, which secured them the top spot in the Horizon League.
The league tournament is now kicking off this week, with the UWGB men squaring off against the #7 ranked Wright State Raiders tomorrow evening.
Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Nutter Center in Fairborn Ohio.
The women will not play again until Thursday, as they will take on the lowest remaining seed.
The Horizon League Tournament will be aired on ESPN+ for the first two rounds, then ESPN U and ESPN 2 for the semifinals and the finals.
